In Cranbrook, we:
- Support local worthwhile causes
- Support local scholarships and bursaries
- Are involved in local community
- Have social outings
- Seek out motivational and interesting speakers
- Promote friendship and support among members
- Have only one major fundraising event per year
- Try to have monthly meetings in members' homes to keep things informal
- Have a good balance of fun at the meetings to keep them light and interesting
- Cooperate very well on projects
- All come from diverse interests, jobs and educational backgrounds
- Have a book club
- Are interested in and support local causes
- Support local education-based projects
- Support bursaries and scholarships at the College of the Rockies and scholarships at Mount Baker Senior Secondary
- Sponsor the Woman of the Year Award, given to a local woman who advances the education and educational opportunities for women
