Who Can Join

Any woman who holds a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent from a university with Canadian or International accreditation.

Qualified women can join a Club in their area, or become a member-at-large. Members-at-large receive a direct mailing from CFUW Head Office.

A woman graduate from a country that has no national federation or association affiliated with IFUW, if the club membership chair is satisfied that her degree is acceptable to a Canadian university, will be considered as a full member.

A woman is eligible for CFUW Student Membership if she is:
- A full-time university or college student
- Enrolled in a degree, diploma, or equivalent program that could lead
to graduate studies; and
- A resident of Canada
- A student member is entitled to all the privileges and responsibilities of CFUW
- Student members pay 50 percent of the CFUW per capita dues
Associate Membership

An Associate member is a member who does not qualify for regular membership.

An Associate Member is a woman who has completed at least two years of post secondary education at an accredited University of College.

An Associate Member shall support the objectives and purpose of CFUW.

Associate Members are entitled to all the privileges and responsibilities of membership in CFUW.

Associate Members shall pay full CFUW per capita dues.

Associate members may comprise up to twenty percent of the total membership of the club.
CFUW-Cranbrook is a member of the
Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW),
a national non-profit, non-partisan, bilingual organization
of close to 10,000 university graduates in
approximately 122 clubs across Canada.
CFUW is a non-government organization with
consultative status with the United Nations Committee
on the Status of Women (ECOSOC).
CFUW-Cranbrook is a member of
the
International Federation of University Women (IFUW),
an affiliation of 71 national associations and federations around the world.
