Olympic Pride in Cranbrook!

Valerie Ward's sister Joy Fera, an Olympian Rower, was our guest speaker at our January 2010 meeting. Joy was on Canada's first ever Olympic Women's Rowing team in Montreal in 1976. She also Rowed in the World's Championships in 1978 & 1979 where her team won Bronze. Joy brought along a used 2010 torch and wore her 2010 Olympic Jacket that she will wear when she runs the torch in Delta.
